Tropical Cyclone Gabrielle developed in the Coral Sea on February 8 2023. TC Gabrielle developed to category 3 severe tropical cyclone on Friday February 10 before moving away from the Queensland coast. Gabrielle travelled southeast in the Coral Sea while deteriorating into a cold core extra-tropical system. On February 13-14 2021 ex-TC Gabrielle impacted on the north island of New Zealand bringing severe winds and rainfall.
