Tropical Cyclone Ruby formed in the Coral Sea South of the Solomon Islands on 12 December 2021. TC Ruby developed to a category 2 cyclone and travelled towards the southeast passing Noumea as a category 3 Tropical Cyclone. Ruby continued to travel to the southeast before degrading to a tropical low near New Zealand on December 16 2021.
