Tropical Cyclone Oma is forecast to impact the east coast.
Tropical Cyclone Oma formed in the South West Pacific region to the East of Vanuatu on 12 February 2019. Oma developed briefly into a category 3 tropical cyclone on 19 February before weakening
to a category 2 cyclone on the 20 February. Oma is moving slowly to the South West into the Coral Sea and will come close to the Queensland coast on Friday. Computer models provide different
movement forecasts with one likely track towards the North and the other coast of Australia.
