Tropical Cyclone Esther

Tropical cyclone Esther developed into a category 1 cyclone in the Gulf of Carpentaria on March 23 2020. Esther moved towards the south coast of the gulf before making land-fall near the border between Northern Territory and Queensland. Esther is forecast to weaken to a tropical low system before moving towards the west across Northern Territory and into northern Western Australia.
